Right before walking down to production room, our guests will be shown our factory canteen. In this canteen, every employee from all kind of level are served the same food, that freshly made by our talented cook. Here the uniqueness : all of the foods served in factory canteen are all vegan friendly. Meaning, there are no ingredients in our food from animal. And that include : honey, egg, shrimp paste, milk, etc. Only fresh vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, and other ingredients that cooked so well. In fact, some of the dishes are called and looked almost the same as the real food. Indonesian food. For example : sate ayam (chicken satay), lele goreng (fried cat fish), rawon (Javanese brown soup), and so many more vegan dishes.

After watching and having Q & A session with our factory tour guide, the journey then continues to raw materials room. Here, our guests walk among piles of tidily stacked up powdered skim milk, chocolate, vegetables fat, and other ingredients. Campina only use real ingredients, real fruit and beans to keep the quality at it’s standard. We use real coconut milk, mung beans, black glutinous rice, ‘kopyor’ coconut for Hula Hula variants. And matcha green tea and dark chocolate for the other ice cream variants.

Then, one of the most exciting session. Going into our cold room. Where our ice cream and ice cream cake are stored within giant freezer in minus twenty to thirty  below zero Celcius degree , called cold room. In there, our ice cream kept before distributed to all of our distribution center, or we also called it branches/representative office. Each and every guest must wear our thick yellow jacket as a preparation before entering sub zero temperature room. And as usual they found out that wearing our yellow jacket is quite amusing.

So, they took a picture of it, or currently known as ‘selfie’ shot before and after entering the cold room. Look just how cute they are🙂 Now’s the time, entering the sub zero temperature room. Our visitors are reminded not to bring their gadgets or phones inside the cold room. And only visitor at the age of 5 to 50 years old are allowed to enter the cold room. Well, health concern is our reason to set up this rule.

There are several rooms inside our cold room, the deeper the cooler the temperature. It’s just like entering a giant fridge. Almost all of our visitors got excited. It’s just like being in Korea or other places round the earth while in winter or cold season🙂 It’s so cold, even some of them do some jumping and moving around to keep them warm. But off course they have to be careful as always reminded by our team, since the floor could be slippery. Well, it’s covered with thin ice.

Brrrrr....

Brrrrr….

“Now, where can we get ice  cream?”

That question will be answered at Avatar Room. Where every guest can grab their ice creams for free. Yes, for free. There at least two freezers that contain happiness! Ice cream, what else?😉
